Our Marketing Department promotes Joomag by reaching out to consumers and building meaningful relationships with them through marketing campaigns and sales methods that are tailored to the demands of our target audience.
We're seeking a creative and hardworking Graphic Designer to help us build an outstanding user interface, analyze our publishers' demands, and develop high-impact solutions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Performance objectives:
1. The first performance objective is to collaborate with the marketing amp; sales team to create magazines w/ their yearly issues, publications/templates, landing pages, banners, sales decks, and whitepapers, for our client companies.
Main responsibilities:
- Work with a range of media while creating magazine templates for Joomag’s platform
- Create magazine designs for Joomag’s clients by following predefined corporate style guides for each of them.
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts while developing the interactive design of magazines
- Design and implement finalized ideas and concepts of custom applications for iOS and Android devices
- Create commitment to Joomag’s corporate-style posters amp; banners for Social Media pages and Blog
- Co-work as part of a team with sales representatives and marketing specialists.
Required qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in the Graphic Design field
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Strong knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, layout, compositing, retouching, and resolutions
- Exceptional creativity and innovation
- An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
- Professional approach to time and deadlines.
2. The second objective is to "Work Like a Team, Live Like a Family.

- Share openly and willingly: Beyond discussions amp; meetings, everyone at Joomag feels comfortable talking to one another and sharing their opinions. It is essential that you remain willing to share your knowledge and unique experiences so that other team members can stay informed and engaged.

- Work schedule is as follows: full-time, hybrid
- Joomag’s Armenia office is located on Saryan Street.
Hiring stages
The full hiring cycle can take up to 2-3 weeks. You will receive feedback throughout the entire process to ensure you are always updated.
1. Task: Two-day deadline. You will be invited to complete a task that is to gain insight into the design created by you, give us an idea of how you approach tasks relevant to the job, and provide some talking points.
2. HR Interview: Lasts 30-60 mins. You will meet with a representative from the HR team. We will introduce the company, share insights about the role, and review your career goals amp; plans. Knowledge amp; experience-based questions will be asked to assess your graphic design amp; personal skills.
3. Professional interview: Lasts ~30 mins. You will be invited to the second interview with our Marketing Manager - Gevorg Grigoryan amp; UI/graphic Designer - Maria Makaryan.
