Job Description

Project Assistant supports the project team in the execution of operational and administrative tasks. The Project Assistant ensures smooth communication between all relevant parties, performs administrative functions, required distribution activities amp; arrangements, making sure that all project-related aspects are well executed and completed properly.

Requirements

  • Carry out administrative duties related to the project’s implementation
  • Assist in humanitarian aid distribution, classification, registration and required tracking processes
  • Keep up to date organization's relevant databases
  • When required assist in monitoring and evaluation activities
  • Participate in all project-related activities, track progress toward milestones
  • Document and store correspondence, documents, and other information in the organization’s Document Management/Storage System
  • Work closely with Project Manager to ensure productivity, and pass critical information to be used in decision making
  • Create schedules, coordinate and arrange meetings, info sessions, and other events, ensure that all participants are invited and well-informed
  • Perform related other works as assigned

Qualifications:

  • University degree
  • Preferably 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • PC proficiency (Outlook, MS Office)
  • Fluency in Armenian, English and Russian knowledge will be viewed as an advantage
  • Attention to details and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to plan own tasks, and excellent time management skills
  • Good communication skills, including ability to explain and present complex information
  • Teamworking skills: good interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people in multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity
