We are looking for a resourceful and enthusiastic HR Specialist to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.

The job profile

1. The first performance objective is to cover amp; support the following sectors of the HR cycle at Joomag:

HR Management - 70%

  • HRM Strategy: Assist in developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization while coordinating and nurturing a positive working environment.
  • Onboarding: following the smooth process of the orientation process, making and handling onboarding checklists, managing calendars, and communicating with instructors and employees.
  • Performance management: in collaboration with Management, setting clear and specific performance expectations for each employee and providing periodic informal and/or formal feedback about employee performance relative to those stated goals.
  • Internal communications: Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations, and act as a liaison between HR managers and employees.
  • Employer Branding: Assist in the development of the EB program within a bi-yearly timeframe in collaboration with the in-house and outsource Marketing teams. Prepare a variety of concepts and execution plans.

HR Administration - 15%

  • Making a written procedure for inventory management, tracking, and ordering
  • Handling employee records and paperwork.
  • Coordinating and managing appointments, meetings, and the conference room schedule in order to prevent duplicate bookings.
  • Tracking and replacing office supplies as necessary to avoid interruptions in standard front office procedures.
  • Other administrative and HR-related tasks as needed.

Recruitment - 15%

  • Developing and updating performance profiles (JD)
  • Preparing recruitment materials and posting jobs to appropriate job boards, platforms, colleges, etc.
  • Screening candidates' CVs and job applications.
  • Organizing the interviews by dealing with the hiring managers.
  • Assisting in conducting the first phase of the interviews.

Requirements:

  • Experience and deep understanding of HRM - preferred in the IT field
  • Excellent knowledge of English: besides just loving to talk in English, you are proficient in both verbal and written business English. All of your tasks mentioned above will be done in English.
  • Business communication skillset: as an HR Specialist, you must be able to express yourself clearly, both in oral and written communication. Thus, you’re expected to be tactful, considerate, and gracious in order to maintain a trustful reputation of both you and Joomag.
  • Tech-savviness: You don’t need to like technology to be good at this job but it will really help you have an aptitude for it. There are a couple of tools used in HR amp; Recruitment on a daily basis, i.e. LinkedIn, Trello, Slack, Canva, Google Docs, etc.
  • Result-orientedness: The HR industry worldwide and in Armenia is competitive and target-driven, therefore, it is essential that you can handle pressure very well, set ambitious goals, and deliver results.
  • Managing your time and ability to balance multiple tasks: as the scope of the role is large and the nature of tasks is various you are expected to be fast while keeping up with all the deadlines.
